patient empowerment service designed to work through an
exclusive network of corporate
benefit managers as a conduit to their
companies’ employees.
The network offers permission-based health information
and education to participating companies and their
employees. All content is medically relevant and is
developed to comply with recognized standards, creating
sustainable interest. HM@W educational programs inspire
action for better health management. HM@W content
provides the employer and employee/patient with
simplified access to a trustworthy source of health
information.
HM@W maintains editorial
independence and is developed with sensitivity to the
needs of employees who have varying degrees of health
literacy.
HM@W overcomes the three major challenges of delivering
health information through the Internet: (1) accuracy of
content; (2) simplified access; and (3) independent,
